Shoot Prep

It's now not long until your photoshoot, I hope you're excited and the diet and training is all on point.

Please now ensure the final elements of your preparation are all in place so you have a successful and memorable shoot with me.

Do you need a TAN?

Unless you are from a black origin then YES you do. You need a dark tan as it is essential to achieve better shadows & definition.

Please ensure you have a spray tan booked at least 24 hours in advance. We can offer a professional tanning service the day before your shoot as Sarah, a Flawless7 tanner, is based at my studio. Handy if you are local or are staying nearby. I would use experienced stage tanners, who know the typical colour needed for photo shoots. On the day, have a cool shower before attending your shoot and you will be photoshoot ready.

What to Bring

Clothing

Please start to plan your outfits, bring as many as you can carry! It's better to have too much than too little.

Props

Please bring any props you feel you would like to use. (I do have lots of weights at the studio)

Baby Oil Gel

Please don't bring baby oil or sprays, it makes a huge mess and just makes you look greasy! The best product is baby oil gel (yellow lid) — this gives a nice sheen effect. (Johnson's Baby Oil Gel) best found in the pound shop.

Towel / Foundation Powder / Blotting Paper

If a MUA has not been selected.

High Heels for Ladies

Helps posture / posing. Please feel free to show / share / bring some ideas with you so I get a full understanding of your needs / requirements.

Plan Your Journey

Please check your routes and journey times. Allow extra time in case of unexpected delays. Remember Network Rail often do railway upgrades on a weekend so this could have big delays for those on public transport, always check TfL for any disruption to your journey.

Parking

I have 1 client space in a small car park at the back of Vernon building — the 3rd space on the left, 17 painted on the floor. I cannot guarantee it will be available as the previous client may be using it. There are about 5 local car parks and pay and display options surrounding the studio which costs roughly £3 all day.
